Summer Interns
Summer Interns play a vital role in our summer camping ministry. Our interns are committed to Christ first and foremost. They also have the ability to lead others, serve with excellence and have a desire to be challenged and grow in their relationship with Christ. Summer Interns will strive to serve Christ, kids and each other. They will also have the opportunity to grow as leaders in ministry, develop Christ-like relationships and enjoy the fun and beauty of camp.
2024 Program Dates: May through September. We ask for a minimum 3 month commitment and can accommodate start and end dates based on prior commitments.
Requirements
- Currently active as a ministry leader in Young Life or other Christian ministry.
- Willingness to work hard and with diligence.
- Past experience on summer staff or work crew at a Young Life property, or some other camping ministry preferred.
- At least 1 year out of high school.
- If not a Canadian citizen, have no legal hindrance in entering Canada.

Steps for applying:
- Read the Malibu Club Intern Information
- Complete the online Young Life summer intern program application. To complete the application you will need your local Young Life area mission unit code and the email address of a Young Life staff member who is willing to write a recommendation on your behalf. Please have your application submitted online and ensure the YL staff recommendation is submitted online by November 1st.
Early applications are recommended for best consideration. Applications are still accepted after November 1 but positions may fill up early.
