Summer Interns

The Malibu Club internship is an intensive community discipleship program located on camp property. Summer Interns play a vital role as partners in ministry to campers, leaders, guests and fellow interns. Our interns are committed to Christ first and foremost. They also have the ability to lead others, serve with excellence and have a desire to be challenged and grow in their relationship with Christ. Summer Interns will strive to serve Christ, kids and each other. They will also have the opportunity to grow as leaders in ministry, develop Christ-like relationships and enjoy the fun and beauty of camp.

Malibu's Intern Program description

​ We ask for a minimum 3 month commitment and can accommodate start and end dates based on prior commitments. Program start and end dates will be discussed with applicants.

All participants will live on site at Malibu Club in designated intern housing.

Requirements

  • Currently active as a ministry leader in Young Life or other Christian ministry.
  • Willingness to work hard and with diligence.
  • Past experience on summer staff or work crew at a Young Life property, or some other camping ministry preferred.
  • At least 1 year out of high school.
  • If not a Canadian citizen, have no legal hindrance in entering Canada
