College Volunteer Program

In light of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak we will not be offering opportunities to serve as a volunteer this summer, as we have decided to not hold consecutive weeks of nationally managed Young Life summer camp. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution and the desire to protect the interests of the health and safety for everyone involved. Young Life Summer Staff Program

This is the volunteer experience for those who have completed at least one year of college (or are of college or post-college age). The Summer Staff program centers around non-verbal and verbal witness of Christ in their lives, service to those around them, Community living, and a deepening spiritual life. Each summer staff session is under one month long. The Summer Staff serve the campers in roles which require considerable maturity and non-verbal witness. You may check availability of openings and apply online. More information can be found on the Young Life website.

Any non-Canadian citizens serving on Summer Staff will need to have a valid passport and nothing hindering them from entering a foreign country (please note that even a misdemeanor DUI in someone's past, even what might seem like a distant past, will be possible cause for refusal of entry into Canada).

How do I apply for Summer Staff?
Qualified applicants will be accepted into positions based on qualifications starting in February. If you have any questions, contact us.
